The first baby shower has officially come and gone. I had a lot of fun and the baby got a lot of great things. We now have to figure out where everything is going to go. My friend Lisa hosted the shower. She did a great job. We played the baby diaper game where you had to guess what kind of candy bar was melted in the diaper. We also had to guess baby foods by just looking at them. I didn't get any of them right. Nick got two. So I guess if the labels every fall off he is the man to go to. In the top picture I am holding a "diaper cake" that Lisa made. I am impressed with all the hard work she must have put into it. It was super cute. Lisa is in the third picture with me. I would also like to thank her mom, Cindy, and her sister, Kim, for helping Lisa so much and driving from Midland for the baby shower. I also want to thank Nick and Elyse for helping me get the house ready and for helping Lisa get things together.Sorry the blog is so short but opening gifts is exhausting =-)

Looks like you had a really good time and you look "smashing, dahling!" :) Was Nick there too or was he off studying or something? It looks like it was a beautiful day and I hope I am able to throw a beautiful shower for you in June. Sounds like Lisa has a great blanket in the making...? Glad you are doing well and REST, my dear one. Your little fingers are probably wanting to go on strike after such a wonderful day, although it looks like there were a lot of bags that held the gifts. Very smart idea, I must say. :)
